It is with sincere gratitude that we acknowledge the announcement of financial support in the amount of $587,019 from the Community Housing Fund – a partnership between Canadian Mental Health Association, PEI Division and the Prince Edward Island Government’s Department of Social Development and Housing. This funding will support the construction of a new independent living and a small options apartment for persons with intellectual disabilities. The building will include eight 1-bedroom units and one 3-bedroom unit and will be located in Montague.
