Dr. Nicole Fancy, President
Dr. Fancy joined the Board of Directors in March of 2016 and became President in June 2017. Dr. Fancy graduated Dalhousie University School of Medicine and joined the Kings County compliment of physicians in 2012.
Martha MacLean, Vice-President
As Past-President of PEIACL and Board member of the Canadian Association of Community Living, Martha brings her perspective from personal experience and breadth of knowledge in advocacy and policy direction to the position of Vice-President. Martha first joined the Board in June of 2016.
Craig Dykerman, Treasurer
As a Chartered Professional Accountant employed with BDO since 2012, now as Senior Manager, Accounting and Assurance at BDO Canada, Craig brings to the Treasurer position of Board of Directors a keen overview on financial matters and provides insight in strategic direction as a Board Member of Inclusions East since June of 2016
Joining the Board of Directors in June 2016, Teresa brings personal perspective with a nursing background who now works in the school system as an Educational Assistant working with children with various disabilities. Teresa has been a past member of the Board of Directors of the Autism Society.
Project Manager at Kings County Construction for 25 years, Mike brings the knowledge and perspective to the Board of Directors since he became a member in June 2017. Mike is also an active member of the Montague Rotary Club, very community minded ensuring partnerships are created and maintained.
Danny joined the Board of Directors in June 2017. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and is VP of Finance & Administration of Northumberland Ferries Ltd., Bay Ferries Limited and Bay Ferries Management Limited. Danny has in excess of 30 years in the transportation and tourism industry and brings a variety of business experience, Danny brings to the Board his knowledge and experience in financial management and strategic vision. Danny has sat on a number of boards, Montague Waterfront Economic Development Corporation, Chair of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia and currently is a board member and Chair of the Risk and Audit committee for the crown corporation Tourism Nova Scotia.
As a retired teacher, Mary brings a vast skillset to the Board since she had become involved in 2017. Mary has her Masters of Education in language Development and specialized training in special education of children with learning disabilities and special needs. Mary has been involved in many community organizations at various levels.
Joining the Board of Directors in 2018, Sandra brings great experience and knowledge as Director of Nursing under Health PEI – Emergency Health Services, Long Term Care and Hospital Services East. Sandra has been involved in many community initiatives over the years
